Tradition or not, the bride may deliver her very own wedding speech during the wedding reception. In her speech, she may go about thanking the guests and all those people who helped with the wedding preparations. She may also address the groom and express her love for him in front of all the wedding guests. Here, now, are toast to the groom speech examples.

For the introductory part of your speech, you may say something along these lines: “A pleasant afternoon, ladies and gentlemen! I stand here in front of all of you today on behalf of my wonderful husband to express just how grateful we are that you are here to share in our joys. Thank you, family, relatives, and friends, for being here. I know that some of you have come a long way just to be here. It’s true what they say that a wedding is a joyous occasion as it is, but it wouldn’t be as memorable if the people you loved and cared about weren’t there to celebrate the occasion with you. So again, please know how much your presence here is appreciated and cherished.” Be sure to make this part as welcoming and as sincere as possible.
Once you are done thanking and welcoming your wedding guests, you may then proceed by thanking your groom for his gift of love. Here’s a perfect way of doing it: “And now, I wish to address my handsome and loving husband by saying thank you. Thank you for showing me how it is to love and to be loved. Thank you for making me feel special and taken care of. You being in my life has given me so much to hope for. Also, it has inspired me to be the best person that I can be. Thank you also for giving me strength during the times that I was weak, and for supporting me during the times that I was troubled. You made me believe in love, in fairy tales, and in dreams come true.”
“I know that we went through very rough times which tested the depth of our love for each other; every couple does. But what matters today at this very moment, is that we are now here – ready to take on a life together.”
“I will enver regret saying “yes” or “I do”. Those words will forever be true because I am yours forever. I am your wife, your partner, your other half. I will love you for as long as I live, and it is to our love that I raise my glass and propose a toast.”
